The AMITAI Foundation
|
Founded in 2010 by Israel based philanthropists, the AMITAI Foundation is active internationally in promoting an agenda of tolerance, community, honor, and cooperation between people of good will.
If you are seeking to change the world, we'd like to partner with you. AMITAI approaches philanthropy differently. We won't be able to fund every project, but we appreciate the work you do and will seek to help you however we can. This website is the beginning of that path, and we promise to evaluate your idea with our fullest concentration. From this site you can learn more about our mission, read our application guidelines, meet our Founders, and learn about our special G2G project. While we do not take unsolicited applications, we're always happy to learn about your ideas. Please note that the AMITAI Foundation cannot make grants to individuals--only recognized organizations can apply. |
Before going further, please watch the following video interview of 2009 PresenTense Institute Wipranik Chair in Israeli Civic Action, Michael Podberezin. MegaFone, Michael's project, is an example of a ventures we'd like to see proposed to the AMITAI Foundation--one which has the potential to change the system (in this case of how citizens and governments interact): |
